Frequently Asked
Questions
Below
are some of the most frequently asked questions we
receive from our customers:
Do you
offer up to full market value?
Yes,
in certain circumstances we will pay up to full
market value for your home. The best thing to
do would be to give us a call 0800 043 2480 and see what options
are available to you.
I've
got minimum equity or negative equity in my home
would you still be able to buy it?
Yes,
it is possible we would be able to purchase your
home but you would need to be flexible on the terms
of the sale. The best thing to do would be to
give us a call on 0800 043 2480 to see what options
are available to you as each situation is different
and there is never a common answer.
How do
you decide on the value of our house?
We
take a number of factors into consideration when
valuing a home. For instance, we use a tool
used by RICS surveyors which details recent sold
prices in your area. We then take into
consideration the actual sales price to asking price ratio
in your area, and the condition of the property and
what work needs undertaking to bring it up to market
value.

Why should
we sell to you rather than through an Estate Agent?
By selling your
home to us you will not have to pay any commission to sell
your home. There is no need for a Sold sign
outside your house if you don't want to! This is because you
will be selling your home to us privately and none of the
above applies on a private sale.
Do my friends,
family or neighbours need to know I'm selling/sold my home?
All matters
with us will be dealt with on a private and confidential
basis. It is up to you if you wish to advise your friends,
family or neighbours of the sale because you have our word
that we won't if you don't want us to.
How long does
it take for the sale to complete?
Our average
length of time to complete on the sale is 4 to 6 weeks.
However, the time can be shorter depending on your
requirements and the paperwork you provide us for the sale.
How much do you
charge for buying my home?
Absolutely
nothing. There is even no obligation for speaking to us. We
will try and structure a sale to suit your needs. Call us on
0800 043 2480 as there really is nothing to lose by speaking
to us, the phone call is even free from a landline!
Do I need a
Solicitor?
Yes, you will
need a Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to sell your home.
We will pay your legal fees upon
completion if you use one of our recommended solicitors.
I'm facing
Repossession and my mortgage is in arrears can you still buy
my home?
Yes, usually we
will be able to help you and buy your home. The best thing
to do would be to give us a call on 0800 043 2480 and see
what options are available to you.
My Property is
in a Poor Condition - would you still be able to buy my home?
A home in a
poor condition would normally not put us off agreeing a
sale. We see homes needing work every day, please don't
worry yours will not be the worst we have come across!! It
is worth bearing in mind though that you will unlikely
receive full market value for your home in this scenario -
apologies, if I'm stating the obvious here!
Do you buy
tenanted property?
Yes, we do buy
property with tenants in and we will usually keep your
tenants on.
